I can't recommend highly enough. Dr Hameed is extremely passionate about what he does - he really does live and breathe dentistry. It is really reassuring to see such an open and unguarded practitioner; having the confidence to not be afraid to answer questions and talk through processes in depth, but without even a hint of arrogance.

I can't begin to tell you him amazed I am so far, my treatment has been second to none from the get go. The team at Standish St Dentist are all amazing!
My dentist Usman is so professional and very thorough.
I am having lots of treatments but mainly replacing old crowns and an implant.
The technical side of things to get the best results are so advanced and amazing. They use lots of modern gadgets, computers and cameras etc to get the best look. As well as very skilled technicians who make the crowns, who have over 30 years experience.
I highly recommend them they really have changed my life! Big thanks from me!

From the first moment I walked into the surgery I felt so at ease. The receptionist are so very helpful, polite and welcoming. The staff all look very happy and you can tell they all love doing their jobs and working with Usman.
Usman treats his staff like they are all family, this is so beautiful to see. He has managed to establish a very special working environment "happy staff, happy clients" this in my experience is a rarity.
I was very scared, unsure and extremely nervous about my treatments but Usman, WOW where do I start. He is just so fabulous, not just an excellent dentist but a kind and very caring human being. He sensed my anxieties has soon as I sat in his dental chair. He reassured me throughout all my treatments and made me feel comfortable.
Usman thank you for giving me back my smile and confidence.

As a nervous dentist goer I couldn't recommend this practice enough, particularly Usman. Both he and his assistant were so patient and calming with me during a recent tooth extraction and the after care has been second to none. All the staff at the practice are friendly, helpful and professional. I now don't give it a second thought when I have an appointment because I know I will be well looked after.

Having taken the decision to have implants has changed my life. I can't believe the difference Usman's meticulous work has made to my smile. He explained the implant process to me at every stage and the care and attention to detail throughout was exceptional. I live in Southport but make the 50 min journey to Standish Street dental practice because the level of service is first class. Chris and his team are extremely friendly and provide expert advice. Chris carried out an invisible repair to a broken front tooth and the result is fantastic. I cannot recommend the practice enough, I just wish I lived closer.

Well if you want the best dentists practice in East Lancashire you are on their website now!! I am such a wimp, scared of the possibility of pain BUT even I am totally cared for and put at ease and believe me that takes some doing!!! My particular dentist is Dr Chris Wood and I cannot praise him enough!!! He is wonderful!! He knows I am always scared even though he has never caused me any pain, no matter how serious my treatment and always soon puts me at ease!! All the staff are so professional and caring this really is a jewel in the crown of dentistry!! I recommend you try it!!

I have had several sets of dentures over a number of years, none of which have been of much use, until a friend told me about Standish Street Dental Practice. My new dentures that they made for me and the implants I had put into my bottom gums mean that I can enjoy my food at last!

I first attended the practice believing I had a lot of dental problems. After my first visit I felt satisfied that things were not as bad as I thought. The girls at reception took time to explain in detail what the treatment entailed and helped me to plan treatment at my time schedule and budget. On each visit to the practice, my confidence grew, and my dental health and appearance improved dramatically. I have now completed my treatment including visits the hygienist, provision of crowns, tooth whitening and tooth coloured fillings and they are very straight. I now smile a lot more. I often feel like calling into the practice just for a chat. And the nicest thing is, they would give me their time.

Prior to joining the practice I avoided going to the dentist and went in an emergency. I had suffered a couple of really bad experiences. I came to this practice in an emergency but due to their efforts, I no longer fear a dental appointment. My teeth have never been so well looked after.
